I developed this system in 2005 to augment my PG Silver system. My suggestion in respect of dividends is to only take fixed odds or Top Fluctuation if the available SP is around $2.50 or below. The system was designed to work on almost all Australian venues 7-days per week, but I provide a list of recommended venues on which I trade this system. Profit shown is calculated on a base unit of 2.5% flat stake on an initial starting bank of 100 units, and at TAB prices.

The PG Alpha system actually came about as an adjunct to the PG Silver system. This system targets more selections with more value than PG Silver, but will also find a greater volume of selections as the rules are a little bit more laxed on some form factors - hence the higher average win dividends which correlates with the higher volume of bets. Having said that, there are one or two parameters that require a few minutes more to apply each day. Can't have it both ways! PG Alpha also looks at trading on more days each week. The rules can be applied to 7-day trading on all venues throughout Australia. I can run these rules on a full card of racing on a Saturday in about 30 minutes!
